A good friend of mine, Erin Coker, is on the committee for the Adirondack Balloon Festival in Glens Falls NY and organizes volunteers to be on the photography crew. I have been honored to be asked to be on it for the last 6 years. It is a spectacular event with up to a hundred hot air balloons including specialty shapes. This year I was luck to get a ride in "Fred the Bunny" hot air balloon. I was able to capture some amazing images from the air. Flying up high gives a very unique perspective of the event, it is exhilarating flying in a tiny basket thousands of feet in the air along side other balloons and watching the scenery unfold before you. When they land the pilot gives a bottle of wine to the enthusiastic land owner whose yard we touch down in. Enjoy my images on my page.
